Hello roger,
I'm a new user of your app, CoolTerm.
CoolTerm has a simple and friendly UI. and it is really good to use.

Here is a proposal.
In my experience, the data is not always 16-bit.
If CoolTerm could adjust the column width, it will be perfect.
Some ideas about the UI:
1. Use screen size to auto adjust the column width (bits)
2. Use an option for users to input a specified value.
3. Others.

Appreciate your reading.
And thanks for CoolTerm again.

Thanks for your feedback. Do you perhaps mean “16 bytes” instead of “16 bits”. The hex view on CoolTerm is 16 bytes wide.

I'm working on an update to the hex viewer that adds the capability to dynamically change the number of bytes per row that are displayed based on the width of the window. I.e. you will be able change the width of the window or the size of the font to change the number of bytes per row. CoolTerm will always display as many bytes on a row as it can fit.

Let me know if you would like to test this new feature.
