Is there a simple way to use a BLE device such as the HM10 with Coolterm?

Since it is Bluetooth Low Energy (in non legacy mode) it cannot be paired to OS X in the conventional manner via Bluetooth Settings.

I'm afraid I don't know enough about BLE devices to be able to answer with certainty. How does the device present itself to macOS? Does it show up as a serial device in /dev (e.g. /dev/tty*)? If not, then CoolTerm will not be able to utilize it.
